The unique Robert Sorby Spindlemaster
is an alternative to the skew
chisel. It is easy to use & simple to sharpen, and because it has no
corners
there is little danger of a dig in.
With the Spindlemaster you can produce basic cuts normally made with
a skew chisel & a spindle gouge. Beads, Coves, Trims end grain,
"V" Cuts,
Square to round. Especially effective on soft woods like pine, its shear
cutting
action and highly polished bevel produce a very fine finish on all types
of wood.
Sharpening is straightforward, simply hone across the flat top face to
keep it in
tip-top condition. The Spindle master comes with illustrated instructions.
